Capita is improving the guidance of its distribution business strategy.
According to interim managing director Wayne Lewis, the appointment of non-executive director, Clare Ryder, to the board will provide the team with more to better Capita's insurance services business.
Lewis said: "Clare knows how to get the best out of people and has her finger on the pulse of this industry. She will provide our team with guidance and insights to improve our business and strategy, and is brilliant at challenging the status quo in a positive and constructive manner."
Ryder's insurance career has spanned underwriting, broking, marketing, sales and business development roles. She began her career as an underwriter at Norwich Union.
