Cigna UK HealthCare Benefits (UKHB) has enhanced its OralHealth dental plans including two new plan levels and enhanced benefits.
A Level 1 NHS plan is being introduced to provide a low cost option for members who use an NHS dentist, as NHS costs are expected to significantly increase this year.
In addition a new Level 4 plan is also being added; with increased flexibility introduced on preventative cover with a new choice of 100% or 75% reimbursement on Levels 2 to 5.
Cigna is also introducing orthodontic cover for dependants under 18 years old, and the oral cancer benefit is being lifted to £15,000.
The target audience for flexible benefit schemes is also now reducing from 400 to 100 employees, as demand in this sector has grown in recent years.
Kirsty Jagielko, Cigna UKHB's head of product management said: "Our feedback indicates that choice and flexibility are high priorities for both clients and members. Our enhancements are designed to cater for these needs and bring relevant choices to our OralHealth range both now and in the future".
