iPipeline has announced the launch of a new multi-benefit protection quote service on the adviser portal Assureweb.
The launch, which includes products from Legal & General and Friends Life, kicks-off the company's "Making Protection Better Campaign."
A range of new product enhancements and services will be released over the next 12 - 18 months.
The new service will launch at no cost to advisers and distribution firms using the Assureweb Portal.
Ian Teague, managing director of iPipeline UK said: "[It] streamlines and accelerates the marketing, selling and processing of protection products by allowing users to quote, compare and apply for multi-benefit products in a single service and for a combination of up to five benefit type.
"Advisers and their distributors are seeking a one-stop platform to simplify the business activities. Our new Multi-Benefit Quote service will deliver a speed-to-market advantage and help them to drive sales."
In addition iPipeline has also added new product features and options within its comparison service with the goal of making it faster for advisers to research quotes.
This includes, but is not limited to, critical illness, life buy-back options, and limited benefit periods.
Teague added: "Launching our Multi-Benefit Protection Portal with Friends Life and Legal & General starts our journey to make protection better for our customers and their clients.
"With many providers soon to join the service in January 2014, I am expecting a year of strong participation by advisors and their firms in iPipeline's Multi-Benefit Quote Service."
