Foresters Friendly Society is now providing Life Insurance cover to Global Connections a group of agencies of charity workers with members based both in the UK and overseas.

Foresters will provide Life Insurance cover of up to £75,000 to current Global Connections members and new joiners to the group with premiums guaranteed for the duration of the contract.

The partnership with Global Connections is the first in the charity space for Foresters as it looks to expand its offering to other sectors and SMEs. The society already has experience in the public sector and currently insures 30 police federations.

Commenting on the partnership with Global Connections, Patrick Smith, Foresters Group and Intermediary Sales manager, said: "Foresters has a proven track record in providing bespoke group products specialising in the police federation arena.

"I'm thrilled that we've expanded into a new sector as we look to increase the distribution of our services and we will continue to look for new opportunities to provide group schemes based on our strong 25 years scheme experience."
