ALC Health has increased the overall annual limits to its Premier, Classic and Ibérica plans.

All part of the international medical insurer's Prima range, they now have added newborn congenital cover and a wider choice of routine pregnancy options across each programme, in addition to adding newborn premature cover to its Classic and Ibérica plans.

Prima Premier has a new annual policy limit of £2,500,000, while the company's Prima Classic and Ibérica plans see an increase to their annual policy limit from £1,000,000 to £1,250,000.

A wider selection of routine maternity options sees Prima Premier now offering four choices - £3,000; £5,000; £7,500 and £10,000, with both Prima Classic and Ibérica now enjoying a choice two options of either £3,000 or £5,000.

All ALC Health Prima plans now include cover for ‘Complications of Pregnancy' up to the full annual policy limit as standard whether or not the optional routine pregnancy packages have been purchased.

These changes become effective from the 1st June 2012 and will be automatically applied to all new and renewing policies.

Andrew Apps, Director at ALC Health comments: "Following our change of underwriting security in December 2011 to AXA PPP International we have used the opportunity to look closely at the scope of benefits that we are able to offer our policyholders.

"These important benefit enhancements reflect the feedback that our clients have given over the past few months about what they would like to see included in their cover.
