Bupa launches information hub

Bupa has launched a hub on its website to offer more information on private healthcare services.

Finder will enable searches of Bupa services including private consultants and therapists, hospitals, dental centres, health assessment facilities and care homes.

Information can be found about consultants' clinical interests, the type and number of treatments they have performed on Bupa members in the last year, the anaesthetists they work with and how to contact their private secretary to make an appointment.

It will also offer access to consultants who practise locally and guarantee not to send them any unexpected bills.

Dr Natalie-Jane Macdonald, managing director of Bupa Health and Wellbeing, said: "We want people to have accurate, up-to-date information about our services and to make high quality healthcare accessible to more people."
