B&CE Benefit Schemes has improved its employee healthcare plan to include employer services and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
The plan now includes three new employer support services; BusinessCare, an HR helpline and a company health report, which is available once employees have completed an online personal health risk assessment.
The specialist construction industry employee benefits provider has teamed up with health insurance provider Westfield Health to make the additions.
BusinessCare, provides 24-hour access to expert telephone advice as well as online information on a range of general legal issues including employment, health and safety and many more, while the HR helpline also provides 24-hour access to free and confidential advice regarding people management issues.
The electronic company health report provides aggregated and anonymised results of employees completed online personal health risk assessments.
This will give employers greater clarity on the health profile of their workforce, and illustrate to employees and their family how their lifestyle impacts on their health and the risk of them developing major diseases such as cancer or coronary heart disease.
It also supports them to take action to reduce any identified risks and presents an opportunity for employers to use the information to take preventative action to improve the health of their employees and reduce absence.
Members who apply for the employee healthcare plan before 30 June can take advantage of the DoctorLine module free for 12 months.
