Capita adds business and private medical services to Webline

Capita Financial Software has added business term protection and private medical insurance to its Webline quotation and e-apply portal.

This allows advisers to use existing term protection quote forms on Webline and produce the results for business term assurance in a comparison table.

Providers now live within Webline for Business Protection Insurance are, Legal & General, Friends Provident and Aviva, and Capita expects more to be added in 2010.

The private medical insurance (PMI) service is provided by PMI Partners and allows Webline's advisers to provide free indicative quotations for their PMI clients.

Advice is also available over the phone to the introduced client.

PMI Partners says this new feature can result in savings on premiums for up to 40% for clients.
