Cirencester Friendly's John Bridge retires

John Bridge has made the decision to retire from his role as director of sales and marketing at Cirencester Friendly Society from 31st March, following a short period of illness.

Bridge was appointed to the role in October 2011 having previously been a non-executive member of the Board from May 2005. 

He also served as senior independent director from September 2005 until October 2011.

Prior to joining Cirencester Friendly Society, Bridge spent an extensive period of time working for the Cheltenham & Gloucester Building Society.

He has also served as an expert witness for mortgage related court cases.

Paul Hudson, chief executive of Cirencester Friendly Society said: "John brought enthusiasm and creativity to the role and his considerable knowledge was invaluable.

"On behalf of everyone at Cirencester Friendly, I would like to thank John for everything he contributed to the Society and wish him good health and happiness in his well-earned retirement."
