Bupa Cash Plan customers will now be able to submit claims online, the insurer has revealed.

Customers will no longer need to complete a claim form. Instead they can simply click a link, complete the required fields, attach receipts and submit their claim.

Bupa said that customers can submit up to ten claims at a time, with all reimbursements paid directly into their bank account within three working days.

All cash plan customers, whether individual or on a company scheme, can use the new service.

Bupa offers a number of cash plan products, whether for individual customers covering their own or their family's healthcare costs, or businesses looking to provide healthcare benefits for their employees.

Patrick Watt, corporate director at Bupa UK said: "This is a much simpler, quicker and more secure process for submitting claims. We are proud to be among the first to offer this service to customers.

"This is the first step in improving our cash plan business and represents another way in which we are making life simpler for our customers in order to help more people access healthcare."
