A private medical insurance advice firm has championed a new computer system for permitting "good old fashioned face-to-face service".
Best Go Private implemented cloud-based technology that was built from scratch in partnership with 1st Consulting from 1st July last year to create a better service for corporate SME and individual clients.
The firm said: "After 15 years it became clear that the client management system we subscribed to was not only costly but also, did not solve many of our information utilisation needs."
The technology, called The Health Hub, accesses applications and aims to target specific problems including; setting up prospective clients; multiple scenarios under one quote; automated quote documentation production; modular and non-modular schemes under the same account; and managing the renewal process.
The system also gives management visibility of where policies and quotes are in the process and produces FSA reports.
Graeme Godfrey, director of Best Go Private, said: "We were really happy to be able to have actual ‘user' experience very early on in the development process so that changes and adaptions could be made based on our ‘real' daily use of the system.
"Also, much time and effort was put into the ‘design' aspect of The Health Hub so that it would look and feel good as well as live up to our functionality requirements."
The firm added client management was "far more" efficient and freed up time for staff to address clients given less inhibitive paperwork.
