The Association of Medical Insurance Intermediaries (AMII) has announced the programme for AMII 2012, its first Private Healthcare Summit.

The day will be relevant for individuals operating in the PMI market, including intermediaries, insurers and providers.

Wayne Pontin, AMII's Chairman said: "There is an incredibly strong line-up of speakers for AMII 2012 and the associated sessions on international PMI, and I would strongly urge anybody connected with our industry to make the time and attend."

Four keynote addresses will feature broadcaster and TV medical correspondent, Fergus Walsh, and a presentation entitled ‘can the private sector rescue the NHS?' from MP Stephen Dorrell, chair of the Health Select Committee.

Transforming 21st century healthcare with data transparency, PMI market growth and the future of hospital provision will also be covered.

It will take place on 3 July at London's Royal College of Physicians.
