Legal & General signs protection tie with Mansfield Building Society

Legal & General (L&G) and The Mansfield Building Society have announced a new protection business partnership.

L&G will now provide all mortgage and family related protection cover, available through the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire based society's mortgage specialists.

Gev Lynott, chief executive of the Mansfield Building Society said: "We are proud of the service quality we aim to provide to customers and wanted a provider to give our customers well priced protection cover with strong product features coupled with excellent customer service.

"We are looking forward to working with Legal & General."

Chris Last, managing director of L&G bank & building society distribution, added: "We work very closely with many building societies and understand their needs when it comes to financial services."
