Now Health adds online quote service for SMEs

Now Health International has launched an on-line quote facility for SME businesses which it claimed is the first in the market.

The international private medial insurance (IPMI) provider also announced a reduction in its rates for group customers.

Discounts are available from 10% to 50% depending on the number of employees within the group.

A quick quote from the website is given when the user simply provides the number of employees within a choice of age brackets and is based on the provider's company rates.

Companies can use the website to get a price, design their cover, manage their quotes and upload their membership list.

The international private medial insurer (IPMI) said the system also created a secure portfolio so the administrator is able to manage multiple quotes and choose the one that suits them best.

"The initial quick quote facility also allows consultants and brokers who are looking to generate quotes for their clients to get an immediate indication of cost," it added.

Alison Massey, marketing and ecommerce director for Now Health, continued: "This is a first in the IPMI market where companies and intermediaries can get a quote for group international health insurance online.

"We don't believe that our customers and intermediaries should have to wait to find out what their preferred plan design costs."

Advisers can obtain a quote on the Now Health website.
