Exeter Family Friendly cuts premiums on PMI product

clock

Exeter Family Friendly has reduced premium rates on its 'Health Essentials for Me' private medical insurance (PMI)plan by up to 10%.

The plan was launched in December 2014, with cover for in-patient and day-patient surgery and treatment, but not diagnosis and consultations.

At the time of the launch Exeter admitted that its comprehensive PMI schemes were seen as "expensive" by advisers.

Simon Philp, Distribution and Marketing Director at Exeter Family Friendly, said: "For clients that are happy to meet the smaller bills, Health Essentials for Me offers a unique solution. "

"Whilst many of our competitors deliver cover with annual or category limits, Health Essentials for Me is designed to be a real alternative - one which recognises that, for some buyers of PMI, the main aim is to protect against higher medical bills."
