RGA UK Names Richard Verdin will take up the post of chief marketing officer, UK and Ireland at RGA UK on the first of January.
Currently on gardening leave, in his last position Verdin was director of protection at Aviva. Previously, he has held sales and marketing director roles at both Direct Life & Pension Services and at Legal & General.
Simon Wainwright, managing director of RGA UK, said Verdin had... "played a pivotal role in the industry: as chair of the Association of British Insurers' Protection Committee, he developed an agenda for change, leading our industry to think differently about not only current needs but also the future potential buying patterns of customers and how we can engage with our customers in new ways."
