Generali Global Health has partnered with Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) to launch an international private medical insurance (IPMI) product in the UAE.

The product called ‘Global Choice' is designed to cater to the needs of UAE residents who require local as well as global cover.

The product is an enhanced health insurance solution suitable for companies looking for global cover and provides online assistance.

It can be tailor-made to match the employers' requirements and provide maximum flexibility.

The additional benefits that the cover provides are high annual limits, a direct billing facility in an international network, chronic condition management, wellness programme, rehabilitation and therapies and fertility treatment.

Ramez Abou Zaid, general manager of DNIR said:"It is a great opportunity to start the year by offering the market a very professional and international medical cover, combining it with the 25 year celebration of DNIR."

Marco Giacomelli, head of General Global Health, said:"There is a growing need for world class health insurance solutions in the UAE. Generali is committed to supporting DNIR and share the specific expertise on international health insurance, to enable DNIR to meet the needs of the globally mobile community in the UAE."
