Engage Mutual launches broker support team in sales drive
Life and health protection provider Engage Mutual has expanded its proposition to include a broker support resource with telephone operatives.
The move follows a strong 2013 performance for the friendly society and will allow it to capitalise on opportunities in the over 50s life cover and corporate health benefit markets.
Maria Harris, sales director at Engage Mutual, said: "We are delighted to report another strong year in terms of sales.
"Intermediaries and brokers have been key in helping us achieve this and as such we have moved to increase the support available."
Kerry Walker, commercial sales and support manager, will lead two intermediary support executives and three telephone account managers.
She will also oversee a 13-strong team focussing on direct and partner acquisition.
Engage Mutual's field-based sales team willl be expanded from five to eight.
The enhanced team will be responsible for delivering sales of the mutual's Guaranteed 50-plus life cover which is sold exclusively through brokers.
