Adviser network Openwork is launching a new marketing support drive aimed at helping owner-advisers build their brand identity.

The new tools, which will soon be accessible through the network's online marketing support system Smart Hub, will enable advisers to make logos and create websites.

The product was trialed with ten firms which agreed on a number of design templates and will offer various options based on advisers' requirements and budgets.

Openwork said: "Helping advisers to grow their businesses is a key plank of our support proposition and we are committed to ensuring that our members have all the tools and skills they need to market themselves successfully.

"We will continue to develop our support in this area in line with the evolving needs of our advisers."

Openwork recently entered controversy as Financial Conduct Authority data revealed that complaints against it had risen in the final half of last year.

The restricted network had 710 complaints opened in the last half of 2012, up from 647 in the first half of the year, a rise of 9.7%.
