Axa's Protection Account has been added to the Webline portal's menu based product range.
Capita's portal already supports the Bright Grey menu plan and this move will allow advisers to compare the products simultaneously where features selected are included on both.
Once the adviser has obtained their quotations, they can apply online via the provider's extranet through the Webline portal, where the application will be pre-populated with the information already entered in order to generate the quotation.
Matt Humphrey, managing director at Capita Financial Software, believes IFAs are now looking to combine elements of cover from each protection type to ensure that their clients have suitable cover in place, and he suggests the new service will help advisers to consider all essential protection needs for their clients.
