Simplyhealth has appointed a new underwriting and pricing director.
David Cobley is a qualified actuary and joined the private medical insurer from the Lloyds Banking Group, where he was risk director for its International Financial Services division.
Cobley said: "My initial tasks will be to continue the work that has been started this year to bring the pricing and underwriting teams closer together, and the development of the pricing for the private medical insurance business.
"The key focus will then be to drive sustainable growth for this business in the future," he added.
