Aetna Global Benefits (AGB) has launched an online wellness centre for its European expatriate members.

The health benefits provider says the site has been created to help members achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

It is particularly targeting prominent health conditions in the region, including cardiovascular disease and cancer, and also aims to support clients whether healthy, at risk of disease, or managing a chronic condition.

Debra Williams, AGB managing director in Europe, said: "We want to engage, educate and motivate members through the AGB Wellness Centre.

"We believe encouraging healthy lifestyle choices will help to promote patient compliance with care and medication instructions, impact health outcomes, decrease health care costs and enhance employee productivity."

The website is available to AGB Europe health plan members at www.aetnaglobalbenefits.com.
