International health insurance provider Cigna has added to the existing benefits of its individual plan.
The Cigna Global Health Options plan will now provide cover for treatment of all cancers. It includes cancer that has spread from its original site and all the way through to end-of-life care.
The plan will also offer support for chronic kidney failure treatment or incurable kidney failure; treatment for kidney dialysis will be covered on a day-patient basis if the treatment is available in the beneficiary's country of habitual residence.
Phil Austin, head of Cigna Global Health Options, said: "We want to be committed to improving our products, and improve and expand our portfolio and service proposition to ensure we are meeting our customers' healthcare needs."
Uninterrupted cover with automatic renewal will also be available.
