Canada Life has announced an extension of its CMS+ VIP services (formerly known as CMS+).

The service is available for group income protection (GIP) schemes with an annual premium in excess of £100,000, and includes claims management and rehabilitation consultants who will provide regular on-site employer meetings.

Those rehabilitation consultants will also provide claimants home visits to give rehabilitation and return to work support.

And Annual reports will be compiled to provide important management information on scheme performance, while a claims management assistant and claims administrator will be available for further support.

Mike Newcombe, director of CMS at Canada Life, said: "The delivery of our programme of specialist CMS+ services has created long-term relationships with an increasing number of employers, bringing consistent improvements in employee rehabilitation and resultant scheme costs."
