Canada Life unveils technology overhaul

Canada Life has unveiled a range of technology developments to be released over the next six weeks.

This includes technology to support the claims process and further development of its Canada Life Automated Self Service online portal.

It will also revamp its group risk website and produce a series of online tools to help advisers explain the need for insurance.

The provider hopes the initiative will encourage advisers to embrace technology as the key underpin to growing the group risk market.

Commenting on the Join the Revolution campaign, Paul Avis, sales and marketing director at Canada Life, believes project addresses previous accusations that group risk insurers have been backward in embracing technological change.

"Over the next six weeks, we will demonstrate that we have continued investing heavily in developing further technological advancement, with a series of launches aimed at providing enhanced communications and supporting the sales process," he said.
