Protect has confirmed representatives from the Protection Review, Income Protection Task Force and Defaqto will be speaking at its May meeting.

The association, formed to represent companies and individuals working in the protection insurance markets, will hear Clive Waller, co-chair of the Income Protection Task Force, Kevin Carr, CEO of the Protection Review and Ben Heffer, analyst at Defaqto.

Steve Devine, chairman of Protect, said the line-up highlighted the body's decision to widen its appeal.

"Protect members voted to amend our constitution last year, so we could operate in the wider protection markets," he said.

"I'm delighted that Kevin, Ben, and Clive will be speaking on the same platform.

"It's a good step forward for Protect members as their presentations will collectively span across both the short term and long term protection insurance markets."

The meeting is being held on May 13 at the Marriott, Marble Arch.

Places are also available to non-members and Steve can be contacted for more details.
