Life assurance is also great value for money, thanks in part to intensive competitive pressure. The cost of cover has never been cheaper and yet demand for life cover among the public has not increased, thus confounding the laws of supply and demand.

A non-smoking 30 year old female can get over £200,000 of life cover for £10 a month. If life assurance was an Apple app then 69p a month could buy someone £13,800 worth of cover. What a great way of turning small change into something that could provide so much.

Just like the hosepipe ban was brought in to save water, people need to take measures to cover themselves should they be in a situation when they have no income coming in. It is all about being prepared for any eventuality.

Most people take good health for granted but it is impossible to know what is around the corner. However, it is possible to be prepared financially should an unexpected illness or accident, force a person to have to take prolonged time off work.

Having some cover in place could prove invaluable should disaster strike. It will financially safeguard a family’s future and make other aspects of their life possible.
