Winston's Wish, the leading childhood bereavement charity in the UK, has announced a new partnership with single-tie protection distributor ViiSana.

The initial partnership will be a three year agreement, running through until February 2019.

ViiSana exclusively offers health and life insurance from Vitality.

The company selected Winston's Wish as their chosen charity for the next three years, starting with a £5 donation being made for every case that they sell which uses their internal support service team.

Based in Shoreham, ViiSana is a life, protection and health insurance distributor. Despite being a relatively new company, the business is "fast growing and has plans to expand the business further."

Winston's Wish has partnered with several protection insurer and adviser firms including AIG Life, SunLife and London & Country.

Paul Ollerton, managing director at ViiSana said:"Everyone in the team at ViiSana is delighted that we are now proud partners of such a worthy cause. We were looking to do something through our business efforts that makes a difference within the community, so when we heard about Winston's Wish and the wonderful work they do, it was an obvious choice to make.

"We are committed and passionate about making Winston's Wish and their mission part of our everyday conversation with customers and we look forward to contributing in every way we can."

Fergus Crow, CEO of Winston's Wish, added: "We're delighted that ViiSana have chosen us as their partnered charity and are so grateful for their support and efforts. They recognise the importance of timely therapeutic support for bereaved families, even when financial support is in place. We can't wait to embark on this partnership together."

Each year, Winston's Wish supports more than 40,000 bereaved children and young people through an array of dedicated services.
