APRIL UK has launched a PMI underwriting helpline, which will give brokers access to an underwriter and receive ‘fas't responses to their pre and post sales underwriting queries.
The helpline is headed up by Tracey Johnson, who has over 25 years of underwriting experience in the protection and healthcare industry,
This is the latest development in APRIL UK's programme of product and service enhancements this year.
Johnson said, "When it comes to underwriting queries, it's important for brokers to receive an accurate and prompt service. Our new telephone based service will provide just that and give brokers an opportunity to speak directly to an APRIL UK underwriter and gain insight into our underwriting criteria."
The Bristol based insurer believes that the helpline will create better understanding about where they sit within the market and allow brokers to make quicker and better informed decisions on where to place their business.
APRIL UK also said the insurer "remains optimistic about continued growth as they embark on a series of investments this year, designed to improve broker experience and their overall proposition."
