clock

AXA PPP International has added Chinese herbal medicine to out-patient cover on new and existing individual and small business members of its Standard, Comprehensive and Prestige international health plans.

International Health Plan Standard members who chose the optional out-patient add-on for this plan are now covered for up to £200 for Chinese herbal medicine treatment.

Comprehensive and Prestige plans (for which out-patient benefit is an integral part of cover) will now both provide up to £300 for Chinese herbal medicine treatment per membership year.

Kevin Melton, AXA PPP International sales & marketing director, said: "We appreciate that there's increasing interest in the international market for cover and access to Chinese herbal medicine.

"Responding to this, we're confident that our members will welcome having this cover made available to them in the knowledge that they can secure the treatment they want - wherever they are in the world - for care and relief of their medical complaints."

Chinese herbal medicine cover is also available to large corporate clients wishing to add this option to their employees' healthcare benefits.
