L&G renews Sainsbury's Finance deal

Following a new deal signing, Sainsbury's Finance is to continue to sell Legal & General (L&G) life cover products.

The direct to the public range includes Life Insurance, Life Insurance with Critical Illness Cover and Over 50's Life Insurance plans.

L&G have sold through Sainsbury's 800 stores, as well as the Sainsbury's Finance website and via direct mail, since 2004.

The insurer is working on extending the range of products available to Sainsbury's customers during 2011.

David Fisher, CEO of Sainsbury's Finance said, "Our partnership with Legal & General has been extremely successful over the last seven years. They are a trusted brand with an excellent reputation in this market; credentials that are important to us and the Sainsbury's customer.

"We will continue to benefit from a strong relationship with a partner whose desire to provide innovative and competitively priced products to the Sainsbury's customer matches our own."
