LifeQuote is now enabling advisers to submit an application based on any quote from either an insurer's site directly or another quote portal.
This enables LifeQuote to ensure that whatever the illustration or product combination the adviser wishes to recommend, provided they have an agency with the insurer in question LifeQuote are able to process the case on the advisers behalf in the normal way.
This enables the adviser to take advantage of the tele-underwriting and administration services they provide.
Neil McCarthy, sales director at LifeQuote said: "Feedback from advisers using our administration services have identified that occasionally we don't offer the exact solution that a customer is looking for, which can be found via an insurers extranet.
"The ability to now easily upload the quote allows us to then process the application for the adviser, typically completing the application over the telephone with the customer and then processing the case to completion, saving the adviser hours of time."
LifeQuote has also also simplified the application screens. Advisers using the LifeQuote tele-underwriting services now have 4 simple screens to complete to submit any insurer or product application and arrange the tele-underwriting phone call.
This gives advisers using the service a two minute common application approach, leaving LifeQuote to complete the application and then manage all the processing of any additional requirements with the insurer.
Roy McLoughlin of Master Adviser said: "We use LifeQuote, as I think my time is better spent understanding the customers' needs and concentrating on giving advice, and then allowing specialists to complete the administration on my behalf.
"The new feature will be useful, as recently I wanted LifeQuote to administer some 5 year renewable term products that they don't currently support within their comparison service. The new apply screens work better on responsive technology making it easier to apply via tablets."
