IntegraGlobal International Health Plan customers can now use a smartphone app which stores their personal medical records and enables pre-authorisation for treatment and submit claims - wherever they are located.
The app, which also features integration with Apple Health and IntegraGlobal's Salesforce CRM system, has been produced in partnership with Medelinked and is one of a growing list of apps, devices and sensors compatible with the Medelinked Health Cloud.
The International Health Plan app is available for Apple iOS via the iTunes app store.
IntegraGlobal specialises in providing health plans to organisations and individuals with unique health protection needs, such as expatriates, marine professionals and specialised risks.
The app enables individuals to record a range of medical details including allergies, conditions, immunisations, medications and tests, and has the ability to store images of scans and x-rays to complete their health profile.
The app also stores customers' medical records securely through the Medelinked Health Cloud-based online system.
The customer has sole control over the information that is stored and can decide whether they wish any healthcare individual or organisation to view any part of their medical history. IntegraGlobal is unable to access any of the data, unless the user chooses to share any records with them.
The customer can also choose any information they would like to store in a password-protected Emergency Records area, which a chosen family member or colleague can immediately access in the event of an emergency.
Medelinked also allows IntegraGlobal's International Health Plan customers to get health advice in real time and chat instantly with healthcare providers using IM, voice, text, email and video from their desktop.

The International Health Plan app is available to download for all individual and corporate customers with an IntegraGlobal International Health Plan.
