ECIS launches dental plan for Construction Sector self employed

Electrical Contractors Insurance Services (ECIS) has launched an individual dental plan, in association with National Dental Plan, for sole traders and self-employed skilled tradespeople working in the construction sector.

Dencover dental plans start at £4.99 per month and there are five plans to choose from - NHS, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.

In an arrangement between ECIS and National Dental Plan (NDP), clients taking out an individual dental policy will enjoy one month's cover for free.

The development follows the launch of the ECIS Dental Plan for construction firms with more than 4 employees in January this year.

Phil Scarrett, Sales and Marketing Director of ECIS said: "We recognise that there are many people working in the construction sector who are self-employed and potentially miss out on the employee benefits that tend to be part and parcel of employment contracts.

"These people also face loss of income if they are unable to work through ill-health. The Dencover plan is designed with sole traders in mind."

ECIS works in partnership with trade associations and affinity groups to design and implement specialist risk management, insurance and employee benefit programmes for the UK electrical engineering and building services sector.
