Revealed: The 2015 COVER Excellence Awards WINNERS

The COVER Excellence Awards 2015 took place last week to recognise exceptional protection and health insurance products, providers and intermediaries.

The COVER Excellence Awards 2015 took place on Thursday the 1st of October 2015 to recognise exceptional protection and health insurance products, providers and intermediaries.

The event was held at the Victoria Park Plaza in London and was hosted by ex-England rugby player Jeff Probyn.

Aviva scooped a double win for best group critical illness provider and best group PMI provider.

Legal & General also took away trophies for best group income protection and best group life, while Ellipse won best use of technology and best service.

In the intermediary categories, London & Country won best protection intermediary while PMI Health Group won best healthcare intermediary.

The coveted Individual Achievement Award went to John Pollock, the former executive director and chief executive of Legal & General Assurance Society. He retired this year after working for the firm from 1980 and was a board member since 2003.
