Guided by members' preference, Standard Life, Canada Life, Manulife and Albany Life have been added to the historic database.
A number of enhancements have also been made to the user interface and the site is now device responsive.
Alan Lakey, director of CIExpert said:"There has been much talk in the industry about the use of technology to bypass the advice process but we believe there is a huge opportunity to improve both the efficiency and quality of advice byputting high quality tools in the hands of advisers.
"With a constant flow of new policy enhancements it is often the case that an adviser may find that their clients existing policy can be replaced with a new one providing significantly improved cover."
Ricky Butler, head of development at Lifesearch said: "We are constantly looking for ways to utilise technology to improve the service that we provide to our customers.
"A tool like CIExpert enables us to rapidly assess the options available to a client and convey the information to them in a way that is easy to comprehend. The depth of the analysis presented engages our customers in a discussion about the quality of cover
rather than simply looking at the cheapest option."
