Legal & General launches Elixir for Group

Legal & General has launched a new administration system for the Group Protection market.

L&G said the system has been designed as an end to end platform with the customer at the forefront of the process.

the system is fully automated which should allow for faster processing, greater efficiencies and speed.

The platform, Elixir for Group Protection, has been trialled by a number of intermediaries since December 2010, ensuring it is robust and able to consistently deliver.

Diane Buckley, managing director for Legal & General Group Protection said, "The launch of Elixir, for Group Protection opens up new channels for growth and diversification for us.

"We're experts in this market and we've used our expertise to design and build a system that will not only improve and enhance the service we give our customers today, but also give us the ability to respond quickly to the changes, challenges and opportunities that we will encounter in the months and years ahead."
