Day three of Income Protection Action Week (IPAW) 2025 included protection experts discussing tools for improving the advice process, social media and ways for advisers to commit to continuous improvement.

The pair of Jo Miller, managing director, the Income Protection Task Force (IPTF), and Vicky Churcher, executive director, IPTF, said that, according to the 2025 Young Money Report, 80% of young people trust financial information from social influencers. Miller said that this indicates that young people have a need for credible financial advice, leading to the discussion of social media and the tools for advisers to connect with clients.
