Health issues impact finances of eight in 10 women

Research from AXA Health has found that 83% of women had their personal finances impacted in some way due to health issues.

According to the AXA Health and Centre of Economic and Business Research, which surveyed 2,000 individuals who self-identified as women in association with the Centre of Economics and Business Research (Cebr), 68% faced health issues at some point in their career. However, nearly one third (29%) of women felt their employers weren't supportive, which jumped to 36% when it came to women-specific health matters such as endometriosis, fertility, menopause and periods.
