'Unique' self-register system allows firms to avoid paperwork with two-step process

Guardian Financial Services is launching an online service which allows advisers to register themselves with the insurer within minutes. The paperless self-service system, designed to sidestep the traditional agency set-up process, will be available to adviser firms when Guardian opens for business next week. The two-step process allows those which are part of a national, network or service provider to register and, once the firm is confirmed, individual advisers can sign up too.
