Tech expert says employee benefit consultants should offer cyber security

Employee benefits consultants should consider discussing cyber security with clients, in order to grow a competitive edge, a technology specialist has said.

Matt Cullina, CEO of US-based firm CyberScout, said in the US benefits space, employers are increasingly looking for solutions for emerging risks such as online reputation management for employees, data breeches, improving identity verification (particularly for management) and ransomware threats. He also explained that healthcare data, specifically health insurance, was top of the risk pool in terms of data management.
