Carr Consulting & Communications is hosting a session to encourage members of the protection industry to write better awards entries.
The session will be primarily focused on the protection industry with many of the key points extended to other areas of financial services.
The session will be hosted in London on Wednesday 11th November between 10am-12pm.
Kevin Carr has extensive experience in the protection insurance sector and is a regular trade magazine awards judge, including for the COVER Excellence awards.
Along with his colleague Matthew Morris they have entered and judged a range of awards over the last decade including categories for insurers, intermediary firms, marketing, public relations and journalism.
Carr said: "Over the last ten to fifteen years I have entered and judged a range of industry awards and have read over a thousand entries from adviser firms and insurers.
"While some are outstanding, unfortunately the overall quality of award entries across the industry is quite poor, with frequent mistakes made every year by both intermediary and provider firms. We are looking forward to hosting a positive and interactive session about how to improve the award entries."
