Paycare has added some new benefits to its 4work voluntary healthcare cash plan.

A ‘new child' payment for parents is introduced alongside a hospital day case benefit and payment for a parental stay in hospital, which is added to the existing inpatient allowance.

A small increase in premiums has been necessary ranging from 14 -75 pence per week depending on which of the four levels the policy holder is included. There are four levels of cover for Paycare 4Work starting from £1.11 per week.

Gail Maltby chief executive at Paycare, said: "We have worked hard to ensure that Paycare 4Work continues to offer extremely good value.

"We will remain in a strong position for the levels at which we pay out for optical and dental benefits, which our policyholders strongly rely on.
