Foresters Life is working on cutting costs in its outsourced underwriting process.

The insurer replaced its oursourced underwriting provider 3D Risk Solutions with MorganAsh earlier in October .

According to Andrew Gething, managing director of MorganAsh, the partnership was going well and the insurer had seen greater volumes of business since it entered the IFA market two years ago.

And today the insurer announced it had reached 1m member customers.

George Mohacsi, president and chief executive at Foresters, said: "It's very rewarding. We're looking forward to increased growth."

In 2011, the Communication Workers Friendly Society merged into Forester Life, the UK operations of Foresters.
