IPMI: miss it, miss out

Brokers will miss out massively without expanding proposition into international PMI, a health insurance intermediary has warned.

Said-firm Premier Choice Group, has begun developing its IPMI proposition with a new appointed representative in Adam Paice, managing director of Medical & Life Solutions UK; he will become Premier Choice's IMPMI head of sales.

Mike Izzard, managing director, said: "In the market now, IPMI is where the money is. Looking globally the wealth has moved form the West to the East. And in a way PMI and its people have followed.

"We have three times the number of insurers active in IPMI as we do for the UK PMI market. This is a massive growth area and brokers will miss out if they do not operate in this space."

Paice said bespoke terms were essential as few insurers offered ideal off-the-shelf products and services.
