Freedom Healthnet widens age limit

clock • 1 min read

Freedom Healthnet has upped the age limit for clients wishing to purchase its private medical insurance (PMI) plan.

The provider is increasing the maximum age of entry for Elite policies from 65 to 70 under moratorium, continued personal medical exclusions (CPME) and switch moratorium conditions.

The changes will be initiated on 1 February and the insurer said it hoped the increased flexibility would allow advisers to secure more business.

Its Elite plan is customisable and includes options for inpatient only or additional outpatient cover, therapies such as chiropractic and osteopathy treatment, chronic conditions cover and regional, London; or London premier hospitals.
