Mental health has topped the list of concerns among employers for 2026, with 59% concerned about their employees’ mental health, according to Everywhen.

Mental health concerns included instances with increased anxiety due to pressures such as the cost of living, increased targets and covering for colleagues off-work or not replaced. The employee benefits consultancy surveyed 500 UK HR decision makers, finding that mental health in the workplace has topped the list of concerns every year since Everywhen began conducting the annual research in 2022.
