New board appointments for Canada Life

Andy Parsons and Jake Lawrence join

Group protection provider, Canada Life, has announced two appointments to its board, Andy Parsons and Jake Lawrence joined on 20 November 2024.

The pair will join as non-executive directors and will both bring significant industry knowledge and expertise, according to Canada Life. Parsons brings his experience in the financial services and insurance industries, he has previously held finance director roles within numerous businesses, including Just Group, Liverpool Victoria (LV=), Scottish Widows, Friends Life and AXA UK. Lawrence, whose appointment is subject to regulatory approval, has the role of as executive vice-president and chief financial officer of Power Corporation and Power Financial.
