The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has launched a new campaign to address the insurance industry’s talent gap and common misconceptions around careers in the sector.

Targeting young people and those looking for a career change, the 'Insurance Influencer' campaign is being rolled out through the CII's 2022/23 New Generation Programme Broking group. The campaign aims to support industry-wide recruitment activity by showcasing the insurance sector positively, the CII noted. A campaign video shows different avenues that exist within the sector and covers the role of insurance in areas that the public may not immediately consider, such as festivals, farming, renewable energy, and cyber.
