Vitality to offer automated underwriting for personal health policies

Vitality has announced it will offer automated underwriting for personal health insurance policies later this year, as part of a series of digital enhancements.

The insurer noted it is working to transform the underwriting experience for personal healthcare (PHC) applications so clients can go through full medical underwriting easier. The digital underwriting enhancement will provide clarity over what conditions are covered, Vitality detailed, and enhance the claims experience by reducing the need for eligibility checks at point of claim.
